That gives your property immediate exposure to thousands of realtors that work in the area. This database of properties is unique and every realtor works with the same one so there is no chance that someone looking for a property like yours could oversee it.

Make sure to pass on detailed information on all improvements you have done to your property, as well as all features that add value and positively differentiate your property from others in the area, so they can be mentioned in the listing.

However, this is not the only way to effectively market your property.  Nowadays, 90%, if not more, of the real estate marketing activity happens in the internet. Investors are savvy and do not wait for the realtors to bring them information, they look for it and many times let their realtor know the properties they are interested in so he/ she can check.

Make sure your property is listed in Trulia, Zillow, Realtor.com and all the search websites for real estate. This would help you a lot to know if you should need to adjust the price, taking into account the property has a significant amount of clicks and no requests for showing it.

Paper advertising is not as effective as it used to be. However, for luxury homes, it does give the property importance and image to be advertised in a luxury magazine.

When dealing with a realtor to sell your home, it is very important to ask him about his plan to market your home.  Some of them offer you an extensive network of clients and other realtors that they can do mailings to. That increases the exposure of your property.
